DESCRIPTION:This is our weekly event to earn money so we are able to help our neighbors with minor jobs around their homes. We are focused on the aging and disabled population in Lents so they may remain in their homes as long as physically possible. \nPlease consider coming out some weekend and help us pick up small bits of litter around this facility.. It’s great to get out and get some fresh air and meet new people. \nJoin us for Breakfast at Oliver’s Café on Foster after our cleanup.

DESCRIPTION:BREAKFAST SERVIED FROM 8:15 AM – 9:00 AM \nOur monthly meeting neighbors helping neighbors. \nIf you wish to get involved please reach out for more details. \nWhat it’s about \nNeighbor to Neighbor (N2N) matches those in need in our community with a team (3-5 people) who can help with those needs. Here’s how it works. Often a widow\, an elderly couple or a single adult finds it difficult to keep their home up because of a disability\, loss of a spouse or age. We assign a Neighbor to Neighbor team to help that individual or couple on a continuing basis. Teams invest four hours once a month. Their focus is on meeting the needs when they can\, advocating and helping to find resources for the neighbor when the need is beyond their ability. \nOne of our greatest joys is the long term connections that are made between those serving and those served — sharing stories and creating lasting bonds\, sharing lives.
